Social media Strategy project
1 month ago our group had an assignment to create a strategy using social media for up-coming-redesign for multimediadesigner.info page, which now will be multimediedesign. info. And I will say that it was successful project for our group. We enjoyed our working process, we got an experience how to make as quality product as possible in just 1 week including classes you have to attend :) and the teachers liked our product and actually encouraged us to continue our work on this.
I will write very briefly how the group work went and the main idea:
After a lot of brainstorming we came up with an idea to make a BLOG for promoting the upcoming page; we connected it with all the most popular social media (Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, based on our research we made) among the students. So the purpose of this was that the students who are connected with a multimedia design field in Aarhus TECH, have to have a place to gather, share links, pictures, write about their experiences during the studies. Involving this social media we are making things much more easier for the user, so that he or she wouldn't bother her/his self by going on exact page and putting something there. He/She can do it very simply just by posting something on their beloved social web sites and it will appear on our blog or the web site we are promoting.
Hopefully this BLOG will become a "storage room" for people who are looking an information about this institution and also has questions that they could be answered by Aarhus TECH students. The more communication have - the more knowledge you can gain!. Our purpose was to collect as much data as we can and also involve students by asking them in our survey "would you like to participate in building up our multimedia designer society". Surprisingly we've got a lot of "YES" with emails from the students, so now we just need a time to cope for it and hopefully we can continue our work involving more students.
You are welcome to visit our "fresh" BLOG and leave a message there ;) Also don't forget to visit our Youtube channel (there you can find funny and not funny videos that were made by our students. ;)
And you can also watch the short video we made for promoting the redesigned site

Trip to "Filmby Århus"
Yesterday our multimedia design and communication class had a trip to Filmby Århus
Filmby Aarhus is the center of film and media production in Jutland.
It now contains 70 media companies, two professional film studios and a

Firms in Filmby Aarhus produce all facets of media products feature films, documentaries, commercials, pictures, texts, Internet and more.
Filmby Aarhus supports film production through the West Danish Film Pot.
We had an opportunity to see how people are working, there, what software they're using, and what techniques they were using for creating or editing commercials.
It was fantastic to see and be close to their business, to listen and watch how they're explaining every detail, everything frame by frame, ask questions and get the professional answers. I was really impressed and inspired by their knowledge and imagination for doing appropriate tasks.
"If you think it, we will make it" I memorized these words from Søren Poulsen, manager and the head of Filmby Århus. Nothing is impossible, just need to use your creativity and be less realistic, at the same time-simple, but professional.
I will try to keep this in mind while doing future projects in my college.
This is their office.
3D pillow in commercial, you can barely see that it is not real. Amazing!
